A leading provider of software solutions & technological support for marine terminal operations wanted to migrate their character-based application, made in Oracle Forms 3.0 and Oracle 7.01, to a web-based application, using the .NET architecture framework and Oracle 8i. Sonata used Forms3Analyzer and ScanINP to ensure that the entire functionality of the existing application is captured and present in Web applications and also made sure that data is generated in HTML pages. The advantage here was that human errors were eliminated.
